A day in the life

Nothing too new and exciting here at the Gammons home. But I was informed by my mother-in-law that it was time for another post on my blog. So here are some things that can be heard in our home this week...

Joe working so hard daily for his family. I am so proud of how he has kept his business so successful, and has provided for his family of 4. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend swimming in the pool and spending time with Gigi.

Samuel is starting solid foods. Working on cereal and just gave him some banana yesterday. I was in the grocery store today looking to pick up some more baby food, but it's been so long...I have to consult my baby book or my baby guru's Mom or Ashley as to which fruits/veggies to start with. He is a happy baby during the day. Always up for whatever Drew and I do. However, the nights here are pretty miserable, not a whole lot of sleep happening.

Andrew is quite a character these days. Still reliving our fun spontaneous trip to Gramma and Pops last week. My Mom saved so many of our toys and Drew had a ball playing with all the organized rubbermaid containers of boy toys! "Gramma saves everything" as Drew would say. He said being at their house was "better than Disney." On to another one of his passions....Star Wars. I called my Mom yesterday, just to talk to another person that didn't want to talk, play or be Star Wars! He is in love with all things Star Wars, and I feel that we both have quite a bit of SW trivia if anyone wants to challenge us!

We really loved seeing the Bos group. Elizabeth is so amazing. She took off work, picked us up at the airport and spent lots of time loving on my boys. Dan is very good with the boys too. Sammy loved cuddling with him.

So, that's it. I'll include some latest pictures too.

Since I have been called upon...

Start with a green veggie--green beans or peas. They (whoever "they" are) say that starting fruits won't give a baby a sweet tooth, but I say why risk it. While the boys would eat whatever I offered at that age, Lila was really hard to get to eat anything other and rice cereal. Now she's a Hoover. Oh and don't buy the Gerber that's in those plastic packs--they are #7 plastic which contains BPA (I do not understand why they use that plastic!).

Happy to see some pics of the boys. Rey would love to host Drew for a Star Wars playdate. I will put him to the task of indoctrinating Mason.

I want to be your mom when I grow up. Not your mother, but Christine. You know what I mean.

I've stopped posting very often also... But I love reading yours so keep it up. I love seeing the boys any chance I get. It was so great to have you up a few weeks ago. Love you guys! Andrew is so fun and he changes a little bit every time I see him! I can't wait to get to know Sam's personality more and more as he gets older. Can't wait to see you all in June - less than 2 months!
